Welcome to Tulip Bicycle Tour, where cycling and family converge to create a unique experience. Our family warmly invites you to our piece of paradise, where the love for cycling and the beauty of the Netherlands come together. Today, we’re excited to share with you the story behind our family business and the passion that drives us.
At the heart of Tulip Bicycle Tour are Irene (mother) and Erwin (father), who own and manage the business, handling everything from bookings and organization to personnel matters. What’s remarkable is that they still find joy in riding alongside our guests, sharing their love for cycling firsthand.
Joining them on the journey are the younger siblings (brother: Rik, and sister: Senna) , who started as assistants and have now blossomed into knowledgeable guides for the tour. It’s a testament to their dedication and the familial bond that permeates our business.
As for myself (Lisa, the daughter), I take care of the website and lend a hand in marketing efforts. It’s a role I cherish, knowing that I’m contributing to something that brings joy to countless individuals and families.
But perhaps the most cherished tradition in our family is our annual cycling event. Picture this: grandparents, parents, uncles, aunts, cousins, siblings—all pedaling together through the scenic landscapes of Lisse. We start with coffee and pastries at a quaint square, then journey on to a stunning Catholic church, through vibrant tulip fields, past the majestic Keukenhof Castle, and alongside fields of daffodils, crocuses, and even more tulips. We cap it off with drinks and a meal, savoring the moments spent together.
At Tulip Bicycle Tour, it’s not just about the sights we see or the routes we ride; it’s about creating lasting memories with loved ones. And what better way to do that than through a family-owned business that cherishes every moment spent on two wheels?
