Keukenhof windmill
The Keukenhof Windmill is a historic sight and a beautiful part of the landscape. It was built in 1892 as a polder mill in Groningen and was gifted to Keukenhof in 1957 by Holland America Shipping Line. Although it no longer has any practical function, it still provides visitors with a fantastic view of the flower fields below when you climb to the top of the mill. During springtime, when the park is open, the windmill blades can be seen slowly rotating, adding to its charm and making it a must-see attraction.
When joining the Tulip Bicycle Tour, you can also peek a view of the windmill. You can explore the stunning windmill and flower field from outside the park, and you’ll be rewarded with an amazing view.
